Viral all over the web, this restaurant has taken over the admiration of teens. Many people all over the world say the most intriguing things about Raising Cane’s and how it’s the best fast food chain. Its popularity truly stands out to me, so let’s see what all this praise is about.
As I pull into the drive-thru I take a long look at the menu. All I see is chicken, chicken sandwiches, coleslaw, Texas toast, and crinkle cut fries. So far it seemed like not much of a variety so I chose the three finger combo which includes three chicken strips, crinkle cut fries, one Cane’s sauce, Texas toast, and a fountain drink. Ordering it was no issue because the worker was very friendly and patient. But the negative part was the waiting. It took about 30 minutes after I ordered even though they weren’t too busy.
I open my food and first try the chicken by itself without sauce. It’s unflavored, no seasoning whatsoever, and dry. I give it a chance and with a little hope, try the fries. The fries are soggy, cold, and completely plain. As I’m getting more and more let down I take a bite of the Texas toast. This bread isn’t bad, but it quite literally tastes like a toasted hot dog bun. After all this I realize I’m missing one thing.
The canes sauce. This sauce is a big part and apparently makes the food much better according to the internet. I dip each item in the sauce and I couldn’t have been more disappointed. The sauce tastes like sour mayonnaise and does not make the bland food any better.
Raising Canes is truly overrated in my opinion and I would never willingly go to eat there again. If you want plain unseasoned food, then Canes is for you. But if you actually like some flavor, it is not recommended at all.

I like plain and unseasoned food. 🙂
