Celebrate the spookiest season of the year with our whimsical Halloween donuts, each bite a delightful trick or treat! Krispy Kreme has just released their Spooky Season menu, and this year, they’ve added Ghostbusters-themed donuts. The Slimer, ECTO-Sprinkled, Marshmallow Man, and Ghostbusters Cookies ‘N Cream are the new donuts included in the dozen.

Not only do they have new items, but they also offer more drink options, including flavors like Slimer’s Slime-Ade Chiller. They’re not just featuring Ghostbusters donuts; there are also designs like ghostly faces and pumpkin-shaped treats. Each donut is a festive delight, with flavors like chocolate cream and spooky strawberry adding an extra layer of fun to the celebration.

I interviewed a local worker at Krispy Kreme, and they said they’ve been planning the Ghostbusters theme for a long time and are excited to pick next year’s theme. He mentioned that his favorite donut in the dozen is the Slimer, since it’s cream-filled, making the donut more realistic.

After getting to try all of the donuts, my favorite was the Marshmallow Man, as it was a simple donut with frosting on top. I’m not a big fan of cream-filled or sprinkled donuts, so the others didn’t stand out to me. We also got a chance to try Slime-Ade, and I would recommend it—it was very sweet, and I would definitely get it again.

I also interviewed Kristin Lowe, who said, “The donuts were delicious; I would definitely get them again! I liked it because it had a really good blend of flavors, and both the drink and the donut turned out delicious. I can’t wait to see what they’ll do for Christmas.”

Overall, I would recommend it. It just depends on what kind of donut you prefer and whether you like more creative drinks.
