Adalynn Whitehead, an 8th-grade student at our school, recently performed in the winter Disney parade. She had the unique opportunity to stay after park hours and experience many more Disney adventures. I asked her how she felt and what she did while at Disney:
“Dancing in Disneyland was such an incredible experience, and it truly meant so much to me to have the chance to travel with my friends and do what I love most. It felt amazing to perform in such a well-known place and to see the joy on the faces of little kids watching us. We even stumbled upon Subway and Starbucks behind the park and saw Chip and Dale walking out, which was a fun surprise! I’ve been dancing since I was 2 years old, so this opportunity really felt like a culmination of all the years I’ve dedicated to it. The Disneyland dance team wasn’t just our whole studio, so anyone who signed up had the chance to go, making it even more special. One of my favorite parts of the trip was randomly running into my friends and spending the rest of the day in the park together. But the highlight of the trip was definitely when my friend Nessa and I managed to ride a bunch of rides in one day. It was such a blast!”
It seems her experience at the winter Disney parade was unforgettable. From dancing at Disneyland to fun surprises and memorable moments with friends, it was a celebration of her dedication to dance. This trip was a perfect blend of achievement, magic, and lasting memories that she will cherish for years to come.
