We’ve learned that a brand new Dutch Bros is being built in Lincoln, and the construction is nearing completion. As we get closer to the opening, we’ve received some exciting new updates.
The community is thrilled about this new addition, especially since it’s located near local schools, making it easy for students to walk over after school and grab their favorite drinks.
I had the opportunity to interview Mayor Holly Andreatta, who shared her thoughts on this exciting development:
“The expected opening is likely to be in May or June, but if it’s not then, it should definitely be open by mid-summer. This is my estimate, but I haven’t received a definitive date. Traffic has always been a potential concern for the city and residents. However, two traffic studies were conducted during the approval process, and both concluded that traffic can be managed effectively with the drive-thru design and the flow of business. While we can’t guarantee there won’t be traffic issues, we’re confident it won’t be a major problem for those driving on Lincoln Blvd. Everyone involved has done their due diligence, and we’re eager to see how things go when Dutch Bros opens. The developer partnering with Dutch Bros owns the lot where the store is being built. The location was chosen because they own the property, and it met all zoning and building requirements. I’m excited about the business Dutch Bros will bring, not only to their store but also to neighboring businesses. This has been long anticipated, and the people of Lincoln are thrilled to finally have a Dutch Bros! It will generate tax revenue for the city and provide another great option for both residents and visitors.”
I also spoke with a local Dutch Bros fan, Cheila Avalos Chaves, who had this to say:
“I’m pretty excited about this new location because I can get Dutch Bros whenever I want. I visit Dutch Bros at least 2-3 times a week, and I think this will become a go-to spot for locals. It’s a popular place, and many people already visit.”
