Soccer is a fast-paced and exciting sport that is loved by millions of people around the world. Played by two teams of eleven players, the game revolves around skillful passing, strategic movement, and teamwork to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net. Known for its simplicity—all that’s needed is a ball and a place to play—soccer can be enjoyed anywhere, from professional stadiums to local parks. It builds endurance, coordination, and communication skills, making it a favorite among youth and adults alike. With its global reach and unifying spirit, soccer inspires passion and connection across cultures.
A lot of my friends are on the Lincoln FC team. I will focus on the youngest player on the team, Isabelle Crawford. She is a hard worker to be able to get where she is today. She plays defense, she has really good footwork, and an excellent blocker.
“I have to keep my eye on the ball and stay consistent. I also make sure, before I have a big game, to have a good mindset. I think it’s important to have chemistry between the team because we need the connection to play out the plays.“
This shows how important that each person on the team to be able to have the connection to be able to execute the plays.
