We’re Too Dependent on Smartphones. It’s Time to Disconnect
Are we getting too dependent on our smartphones? That is a question I will be asking you throughout this article, and gathering other people’s ideas on this topic. I wanted to write this article because one day, my dad and I were driving, and he kept looking at his phone for directions home. However, he kept taking the wrong turns. Yet, he told me that he knew how to get home even without his phone, by simply looking at the signs. And he asked me, Are we getting too dependent on our phones? Giving me the idea to make this article.
I think we are getting too dependent on our phones because of what happened. But let’s see what other people experienced that made them think, or not, if we are getting too dependent on phones. First I asked Mr Noonan if he thinks that we are getting to dependent on are phones, this is what he said “ Yes we are getting to dependent on are phones, its getting to easy, people are never bored, and they dont get social also it is the first thing people do when your standing in line your waiting for something.” Raylan Vanderpool said,” Yes, because we are always on them and we always have them with us.”
So, after this article, you might think we are getting too dependent on our phones, but for some things, we do not need them. If you are lost, you can look at the map on your phone to find your way back or call 911. Also, if you are in trouble, you call 911.
