Fall is in the air, and Glen Edwards Middle School is gearing up for one of its most loved events of the season, the Harvest Fair, happening on Friday, October 24 in the school quad. This annual celebration is free to attend and open to all families, promising an evening filled with laughter, excitement, and festive fun for every age group.
This year’s fair is set to be bigger and better than ever, with a wide variety of games that will keep kids, teens, and even adults entertained. From carnival-style booths to creative challenges designed by the student leadership team, there’s no shortage of interactive fun. Whether you’re tossing rings, spinning wheels, or testing your aim, the fair offers plenty of chances to win prizes and collect candy. Younger children will enjoy the playful activities tailored just for them, while older students can dive into more competitive games that bring out their spirited side.
One of the most thrilling additions this year may be the haunted house, a spooky attraction rumored to be filled with eerie surprises and ghostly delights. It’s perfect for those who love a good scare and want to test their bravery in the name of Halloween fun and adventure.
Mrs. Mullen, the school’s director of leadership, shared her enthusiasm: “The Harvest Fair is a place where parents, little brothers and sisters can come and have fun!” It’s a chance for families to come together, enjoy the season, and make lasting memories in a safe and welcoming environment.
Leadership staff member Eevy Merwin added, “We’ve been working hard to make this year’s fair the best one yet. There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see the quad filled with laughter and fall vibes!”
8th grader, ReAnna Buys, a longtime fan of the event, echoed the excitement: “Every year it gets better. I love coming with my friends and family, it’s the perfect way to celebrate fall and make memories.”
So grab your costumes, bring your friends, and mark your calendar, October 24 is your chance to experience the magic of autumn at Glen Edwards. Come hungry, come happy, and come ready to play!
