Have you ever wondered what teachers were like when they were young? Well, I certainly have! As one of many students’ favorite teachers, let’s take a look at what our very own 7th grade history teacher, Mr. McAdam, was like when he was a teenager!
Things have changed a lot since he was in middle school. For example, they didn’t have cell phones or social media back then. They couldn’t go on their phones and listen to music on Spotify. Instead, Mr. McAdam would listen to music on tape cassettes and vinyl records.
Sports have always been a popular activity, and Mr. McAdam was no exception. He played competitive sports like soccer and basketball. Once he got to high school, he played competitive football and ran track. As for his non-competitive sports, he enjoyed skateboarding and surfing. Mr. McAdam was a very athletic teen!
Everyone knows that middle school isn’t always easy. But Mr. McAdam was definitely very smart. He left middle school with a 3.8 GPA and graduated high school with a 3.67 GPA!
And lastly, you might be wondering, what were some of his favorite things when he was our age? He enjoyed outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing, skiing, and snowboarding. He was also into many sports like skateboarding, surfing, soccer, baseball, and football.
Now that you know more about Mr. McAdam, do you relate to him in any way?
