We all know Stranger Things is coming to an end, so let’s talk about what the finale left us with. I’ll also be rating the finale based on my own opinion. Heads up, there will be spoilers, so if you haven’t watched it yet and don’t want anything ruined, this is your warning.

Remember, the finale is meant to be a cliffhanger for fans to create theories and think about what could happen next. It’s unclear whether Eleven is alive or not, and it’s also unclear if Vecna, also known as Henry, is truly dead or still alive. The ending is meant to leave people thinking, so please respect the Duffer Brothers’ choice to leave some questions unanswered.

First, Vecna, also known as Henry, was defeated, along with the Mind Flayer itself. Eleven and the rest of the gang worked extremely hard to finally defeat what had been standing in the way of peace for so long. Joyce Byers was also a complete beast in this episode. She cut off Vecna’s head with an axe.

Kali, also known as Eight and Eleven’s sister, played a huge part in the finale by helping save Hawkins from combining with the Upside Down and destroying the world. There were also a few deaths in the finale, so I definitely recommend being prepared for that.

There are a lot of theories that came out of this ending, and it gets intense. From Will Byers being gay, to Eleven sacrificing herself, to theories about Kali possibly being dead, there is a lot for fans to talk about.

This finale was a complete rollercoaster of emotions. It made me cry during some scenes, and it also had me jumping off my couch from excitement and happiness.

The gang also graduated, and Dustin even embarrassed the principal in front of the entire school. Everyone seemed to get a happy ending, but was it really a happy ending? Who knows.

Overall, I give the finale a 5 out of 5 stars. Stranger Things was and will always be an amazing show in my opinion. If you’re interested in science fiction, adventure, and scary moments all in one show, then this series is definitely for you.
