The Rolling Stones have recently come out with a new album called, “Black and Blue”. Since the Rolling Stones are one of my favorite bands, I was excited to review their album. The Rolling Stones first formed in London, 1962.

After listening to the album, I was disappointed. I didn’t like the way the band sang, and I didn’t like the beats to the music. It was nothing like them. Some songs on the album were, “Memory Motel”, “Hand of Fate”, and “Cherry Oh Baby”. I didn’t enjoy any of the songs on the album. 

Their music was kind of slow and boring. Listening to their newest album made me wonder, “What happened to the Rolling Stones?”. I prefer some of their classics like, “Paint it Black”, “Gimme Shelter”, and my favorite, “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”. 

I loved their original way of performing music. Their groovy beats lifted my spirits. I wished that they had applied that method into their album. The Rolling Stones had recently collabed with another artist called, “Fatboy Slim” and made an EP.

I listened to their EP, and I was very disappointed and depressed. It was a remix of my favorite Rolling Stones Song, “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction”. The EP was called “Satisfaction Skank”. The EP had techno beats, which I didn’t like.

There was an extended version, but I couldn’t work up the courage to listen to it. Overall, I wasn’t very happy with their new music. I rate their newest album a 3/10 stars and their latest EP -1/10 stars. I hope that they will come out with better music in the future.
