If you haven’t noticed, lately Tweening Animations have been popular all over social media. Tweening animation is a type of animation in which keyframes are in between 2 frames or more to create a smooth animation or sometimes a bouncy animation, basically any kind of smooth animation.
Does Tweening animation deserve its views or not? There were also trends such as the Cry for Me animation trend or the Attention Breaking News animation trend. Tweening animation can be seen in some 2d shows or movies, but mainly they show up in social media such as Tik Tok, Youtube, or even Instagram.
A example of a animator that does tweening animation is @PoeyPepto on Youtube and Tik Tok, another famous animator is @SillyS.Kanimination who is known very well for making Poppy
Playtime animations and more, and @rand0m_alexandra who also made poppy playtime animations and more. Overall you’ll at least see animations more than once in social media or these animators sometime.
Tweening animation have its benefits and its negatives, the benefits are that tweening animation requires digital drawing a lot which can be a good hobby as it is very fun, another benefits is that you can make your drawings come to life with tweening animations, you can make the drawing talk, move, do some silly dances and more. But the Negatives are how long it takes to finish the animation which means more screen time, less control on your animations, and learning how to tween at first is a complete nightmare.
Tweening animation had been really popular ever since 2020, it had affected and inspired multiple people to start making tweening animations which also includes digital drawing a lot and sometimes people like to mix frame by frame with Tweening to make really good smooth animations. Overall, Tweening Animation has its benefits but it also has its negatives as it includes a lot of screen time.
