The Fourk Kitchen is a fairly new restaurant in Lincoln. The restaurant has a unique theme centered around the number four and forks. Inside, the design feels simple and slightly unusual, which creates a different atmosphere compared to most restaurants. This contrasts with the outside, where guests are not allowed in until 5:30 PM, and dinner service begins at 6:30 PM.
The dining experience includes a four course meal. The first course is a salad, followed by soup, then a main dish, and finally dessert. There is no menu to choose from because the chef selects the dishes for you. During my visit, the meal included Caesar salad and broccoli cheddar soup to start. The main course options were grilled chicken, salmon, or filet mignon, and dessert was crème brûlée. The menu changes every month, so each visit offers something new.
The restaurant itself is small and can seat about 30 guests. Guests must order in advance since the meals are prepared ahead of time and served in courses. From 5:30 to 6:30 PM, there is also a happy hour at the bar. The price is about 44 dollars per person, and all of the food is prepared by one chef. The staff is friendly and interactive, often coming out to talk with guests and create a welcoming experience.
Overall, this was a great dining experience and one of the best I have had. The customer service was excellent, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the concept was creative and fun. I would definitely recommend trying it at least once.
