Roblox Dandy’s World officially released its Easter update again on March 20th, bringing back Bassie, Cocoa, Flyte, and Eggson. Along with their return, they come with more skins, abilities, and added lore. There are also some new additions and changes from last year, including the return of the Colorful April skin, now with a new code skin.

Their costs remain the same as last year. Bassie costs 2,500 ichor and 3,000 baskets, and requires full research on her twisted. Cocoa requires 1,500 baskets and full research on five twisteds. Flyte requires 700 baskets and 50% research on his twisted, while Eggson costs 300 baskets.

Bassie and Cocoa’s twisted forms have been updated. Twisted Cocoa can now jump over shelves, boxes—basically anything—while chasing you. Bassie can summon vines that slow you down when you’re hit. Honestly, Twisted Cocoa’s ability is the only thing that still jumpscares me, especially during blackouts. Bassie’s ability also kind of reminds me of John Doe from Forsaken (I had to mention him).

There are also more skins now, and they look amazing. Golden skins have been added as well, which you can earn by completing missions for each character. On top of that, stickers have been introduced. The developer, Qwel, has confirmed that even more skins will be added in the future.

The update also expands on the lore, including a new Easter map with details that add to the event’s story. There’s also a special floor effect called “Spring Fever.” This floor increases movement speed for both twisteds and toons, but comes with trade-offs: purple fog reduces visibility, Tired II slows stamina regeneration, Dazed II reduces twisted attention span, and Energized II boosts movement speed (for both sides).

Overall, the event is really fun, but it feels very similar to the Christmas event. I’d rate it a 3/5. I think it could have benefited from more unique features to better differentiate it from previous events.

The event ends on April 24th, so make sure to enjoy it while it lasts.
